The Story Chapter 8 Post Sermon

In the time of the judges the people fell into a pattern of sin, oppression, turning around (as they cried out for help) and God delivered them. God delivered them because God desires nothing less than to be in relationship with God’s created people. God is love, and God loves us, even when we mess up. (Click here to play the song we sang at the close of the 9 am worship service.)

Where is your life in this pattern of sin, oppression, turning back to God and experiencing God’s deliverance?

Remember there were two BIG things the people failed to do: They failed to worship the one true God and fell into a pattern of allowing outside influence to affect their pattern of worship. They also failed to teach their children about God. How are we doing at those two things?
